3.1 Text-to-Speech Conversion: ListenPal provides AI-powered text-to-speech services that convert text from documents, web pages, and PDFs into spoken content using advanced voice synthesis technology.

3.2 Voice Options: Our Services offer multiple crystal-clear, expressive voices for narration. You can customize speaking rate and volume to match your preferences.

3.3 Content Sources: You can convert text from various sources including documents, web pages, PDFs, and other text content.

3.4 Service Availability: While we strive to provide uninterrupted service, we do not guarantee that the Services will be available at all times. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time.

4.1 Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to the content you provide to ListenPal ("User Content"), subject to any rights held by other people.

4.2 Manuscript Submissions: If you submit a manuscript, book information, categories, notes, or a processed cover image for consideration, you represent and warrant that you own the submitted manuscript and related materials or have all rights, licenses, consents, and permissions necessary to submit them and permit the processing described in these Terms. You must not submit material that infringes another person's intellectual property or other rights.

4.3 Limited Submission License: You grant ListenPal a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license only to receive, store, validate, and manually review your submission; contact you about it; and perform related security, support, and operational processing. This license does not transfer ownership of your materials to ListenPal.

4.4 Human Review and No Commitment: Manuscript submissions are subject to manual human review. A submission does not guarantee acceptance, production, publication, distribution, compensation, or any other commercial outcome. We may accept or reject a submission at our discretion, subject to applicable law.

4.5 Prohibited Submission Content: You must not submit material that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, abusive, hateful, or obscene; exploits or harms minors; violates another person's privacy or publicity rights; contains malware, malicious code, or content intended to disrupt the Services; or is otherwise prohibited by applicable law.

4.6 Generated Audio: The audio generated through the general text-to-speech Services from your User Content is for your personal use. You may not distribute, sell, or commercially exploit generated audio without proper authorization. This provision does not mean that a manuscript submission will be converted into audio.

4.7 Content Removal: We reserve the right to remove User Content that violates these Terms or applicable laws, or where removal is reasonably necessary to protect the Services or others.

5.1 Fair Use: You agree to use the Services in accordance with fair use principles. We reserve the right to impose limitations or suspend accounts that engage in excessive or abusive usage.

5.2 Storage Limits: Generated audio files may be subject to storage limitations. We reserve the right to delete content that has not been accessed for an extended period.

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers or networks connected to the Services
• Use any automated means to access the Services or collect information from the Services
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Services
• Upload viruses, malware, or any other malicious code
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Sell, resell, or commercially exploit the Services without our express written permission

7.1 Our Rights: The Services, including all content, features, functionality, software, and technology, are owned by ListenPal and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 Limited License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

7.3 Trademarks: ListenPal, our logo, and other marks are trademarks of ListenPal. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Services, you consent to our privacy practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

9.1 "AS IS" Basis: THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9.2 AI-Generated Content: We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or suitability of AI-generated audio. The quality of generated audio may vary depending on the source content and selected voice options.

9.3 Limitation of Liability: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LISTENPAL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

10.1 By You: You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team or using the account deletion feature in your settings.

10.2 By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms.

10.3 Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. We may delete your User Content and generated audio, though we are not obligated to do so.
